Javi Frias has been collecting and playing records for more than ten years since his early days as a young 'soul boy' in Madrid. Nowadays he's one of the most respected DJs of underground black music in Spain, with residents in some of the best clubs of Granada: Afrodisia, Boogaclub and Sugarpop. Some other places where he's been djing at are: Hamburg (Germany), Leipzig (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, Cordoba, Marbella...
He's been doing several radio shows since 2002. In 2007 he started Sound Dimension, a weekly radio show where you can find the best in underground black music, from the vintage sounds to the latest, quality electronic evolution of these grooves: Soul, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Rare Grooves, Jazz, Latin, Boogie, Afrobeat, Breaks, Broken Beats, Nujazz, Deep & Soulful House, Hip Hop, Bmore, Mash Ups, Re-Edits... Always with and elegant, educational and addictive point of view.
In addition of his work as club and radio DJ, he's the drummer of one of the best soul bands in the groove scene, Al Supersonic & The Teenagers.
